OBITUARY WILLIAM BIDDLE ON Christmas Day an old and esteemed identity of Richmond in the person of Mr. William Biddle passed away in the local hospital at the ripe age of 83 years. De- ceased was a native of Richmond, where he lived all his life, and was for many years employed at the Hawkesbury College. His father, Robert Biddle, was one of the first blacksmiths in the Hawkesbury district. At the age of 28, the late. William Biddle was married at Richmond to Miss Healen Ste- phenson, who survives him, together with a family of two sons and three daughters, viz., Mary, Ann, Walter. Percy and Hilda. Two sons predeceased their father. The funeral took place on December 27, the re- mains being laid to rest in St. Peter's An- glican cemetery, Richmond, Rev. F. J. Dil- Ion officiating at the graveside.
