      LAND
      (From Our Cullen Bullen. Correspt.)-
      A pretty wedding was celebrated!
at St. Vincent's Church, Portland; at
9 p.m. on Saturday, when Edna Mary,
eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.
      Pussell, of Tyldesley, was married
to Laurie, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs..
      T. Field, of Cullen Bullen. The' Rev,
      Father Sheehan officiated.
The bride was dressed in a. frock
of white satin, and wore , a wvhite
veil and coronet of orange; blossoms,
carrying a bouquet of white roses.
She entered the church on the arm
      of her father.
Miss Irene Pussell, sister or the
bride, was the bridesmaid, and was
attired in a frock of pink crepe-de-
chene with, hat to match, and car-
rled a bouquet of pink roses.
Mr. Harold Woods, cousin of the
      bridegroom; acted as best man.
After the ceremony the parents of
the bride received the guests at their-
home where about. 30 sat down at the
      breakfast. The tables were tastefully
decorated, credit for which was due
      largely to Mesdames Shannon. K.

Mr. Sparks ably filled the role as
      chairman, The toast of "The bride;
      and bridegroom" was ably proposed'
by Mr. Jack Taylor, and that of the

      proposition of the chairman. Suit-
      able responses were made. The-

very rousing and hearty farewell as-
they left the bride's home to journey
to their new residence in Cullen Bui/
len, where they will- make their
