THE LATE MR JOHN JAMES
CONLON.
On 12th inst. the death occured at
his residence, " Wilga Park," Narro-
mine, of John James Conlon, formerly
of Neila Creek and Broula, in this
district, the cause of death being
gastritis. The late Mr. Conlon was a
native of Liverpool (N.S.W.) where
he was born74 years ago. During
his last illness he had every care
from his medical attendants, while
his spiritual wants were attended to
by Dr. Brophy and Father Frank
Crowe. In his closing hours he had
all his family at his bedside, some of
whom journeyed from distant parts of
the State. He leaves three sons and
four daughters to mourn their loss,
viz, Messrs John M. (" thae," Eliza-
beth Bay), Thomas J. (Narromine),
M. S. (Parkes), Mrs W. Jordan
(Narromine), Mrs J. J. O'Neil
(Narromine), Sister M. Ita (Convent
of St Joseph, Gulgong), and Nurse
Conlon (Waterfall, South Coast). We
sincerely regret the demise of an old
friend and tender his sorrowing rela-
tives our heartfelt sympathy.

Michael Sylvester Conlon passed
away at Dubbo last week, after an
illness of only ten days, at the age
of 53. Cause of death was cerebral
hemorrhage. Deceased was a native
of Cowra, and at different periods
became widely known throughout
Narromine, Parkes, Ganmain, Tem-
ora, Millthorpe and Dubbo districts.
In 1907 he was in Argentine as
representative of his firm, Massey
Harris Ltd., whose business he
conducted in Dubbo at the time of
his decease. Sister M. Ita, of St.
Joseph's Convent (Coonabarabran)
is a sister.
