MR. Victor Edward Nott, only son
of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Nott,
      "Glencoe," Mollyan, near Binnaway,
who was 23, died while under an
anaesthetic for an operation in the
      Coonabarabran Hospital about noon
      on Monday last.
Mr. Nott, who was six feet tall
and well built in proportion, was
of a fine physical type. His sud-
      den death is regrettable.
The late Mr. Nott's father is a
brother of Mr. Jack Nott, "North
      Shore," Dunedoo, and Mr. Herbert
      Nott, "Rosedale." Mr. Victor Nott

After a service at the Dunedoo

      Tuesday afternoon, the remains of
the late Mr. Nott were interred in
the Church of England section of
      the Dunedoo cemetery, where the
Rev. Mr. Arnold conducted the last
      graveside rites. Funeral arrange-
ments were carried out by Mr. J.
      Harper, Coonnbarabran mortician.
The pall-bearers were four of the
late Mr. Nott's cousins, viz., Cyril,
      Allan, Cecil and Kevan.
      Miss Myra Roach, ot Sydney,
who is a sister of the deceased's
      mother, chartered a plane from
      Marshall Airways, Mascot Aero-
drome (Sydney), and flew to Dune-
doo to attend the funeral. The
plane, flown by Pilot S. D. Marshall,
made the 240 miles' trip from Syd-
ney in one hour 60 minutes, against
      a strong headwind.
      Our sympathy is extended.
