Another very vital link in the
line of old pioneers of the Dunedoo
district was broken On Tuesday,
August 2, when Mrs. Rebecca Kable,
relict of the late Mr[s.] sic Fredrick
Kable, passed away at the Dunedoo
War Memorial Hospital, after a
fairly long period of ill-health.
Deceased, who was 76 years of
age, had been a resident of the Dune-
doo district all her life, having been
born at 'Bolaro' in 1873. She will be
greatly missed. Of a rather retiring
nature, the late Mrs. Kable was
none the less, widely known, and
very highly respected.
Our sincere sympathy is extended
to the bereaved sons, Lloyd (Syd-
ney), George (Lithgow), Cecil
(North Coast), Claude (Merrygoen),
also daughters Adelina (Mrs. Nivens,
Hannah's Bridge), Lily {Mrs. W.
Brydon, Dunedoo), and Ammelia
(Mrs. A. Brydon; Kandos). There
are approximately 40 living grand
children, and 30 great grand child
ren.
