DOUBLE WEDDING.
NORTH COAST COUPLES.
An all-white colour scheme was
chosen for the double wedding of
Miss Mona Kealy with Mr. John
O'Sullivan (Murwillumbah) and his
sister, Miss Mary O'Sullivan, with Mr.
Dick Anderson (Tweed Heads), at St.
Joseph's Church, Tweed Heads, at 8
a.m. on Saturday, October 29.
The ceremony, which was per-
formed by Rev. Father Hanley, who
was assisted by Rev. Father Leo
Carlton, was followed by Nuptial
Mass.
The church was decorated with
arum lilies. Miss O'Dwyer was or-
ganist and Miss Monica Smith sang
"Ave Maria."
Miss Kealy, who is the only daugh-
ter of Mrs. Kealy, of "Hillside," Dun-
gog, and the late Mr. P. J. Kealy, of
Haberfield, was given away by her
brother, Mr. R. Kealy, of Byron Bay.
With her dress of embroidered sheer
she wore her mother's wedding veil
mounted on tulle. Her diamond and
sapphire brooch had also been worn
by her mother on her wedding day.
Her bouquet was of white carnations.
White camellias fastened the fin-
ger length veil of cut tulle worn by
Miss O'Sullivan, who was given away
by Mr. J. O'Sullivan. She is the
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
T. O'Sullivan, of Banora Point. Her
dress was of white satin taffeta, and
her bouquet of rosebuds and gladioli.
The two bridesmaids — Miss Mar-
garet O'Sullivan, who attended Miss
Kealy, and Miss Geraldine O'Sullivan,
who attended Miss O'Sullivan — were
frocked alike in white tulle over satin
slips. They wore wide picture hats
and carried blue delphiniums.
Mr. Tim O'Sullivan attended his
brother, Mr. John O'Sullivan, while
Mr. Anderson was attended by Mr.
V. Cranney.
At the reception, which was held
at "Clonakilty," the home of Mr. T.
O'Sullivan, Banora Point, the guests
were received by Mrs. Kealy, who
was frocked in black romainele, and
Mrs. Anderson, who wore black
sheer. Both carried posies.
When leaving for the honeymoon,
which was spent in Brisbane, Mrs.
O'Sullivan wore a frock of dusky rose
crepe, with matching navy crepe.
Mr. and Mrs. Anderson spent their
honeymoon in Brisbane and Sydney.
The bride's black travelling frock was
finished with punched lace, and had
a matching coatee. — "Tweed Daily,"
