      August 2. The late Mr. Parkinson,
      who was well known and highly re-
      spected in Armidale, left Australia
      about 27 years ago. Mr. G. H. Par-
      kinson (Armidale}. Mrs. J. Ball (Kog-
      arah), and Messrs. Robert and Harry
      (England) are children. The late Mr.
      Parkinson celebrated Ins 80th birth-
      this month. He commenced Sunday
      School teaching at the age of 18 years,
      and ceased only -when he was 78 years
      of age.
