TENTERFIELD, February 9.
James Magick, aged 20, was thrown by
a young horse at Legume to-day, and
was killed instantly.

HORSE-BREAKING FATALITY.
KILLARNEY, January 31.
This afternoon James Magick, a horse
breaker was riding a young horse down
Kirk Hill, when the horse side- bucked,
falling over backwards. Magick never
left the saddle and when picked up was
found to be dead, his neck being broken.

The Killarney Fatality.
While two horse-breakers, James
Magick and John Keogh. were riding
young horses on Kirk Hillt, on Thurs
day evening, Magick's horse bucked
and threw its rider. Passers-by rush
ed to the assistance of Magick, who
was bleeeding profusely, and upon ex
amination he was found to have sus
tained a compound fracture of the
skull. Life was extinct. The de
ceased was only 19 years of age.
