Mr. Frederick Kable
The death occurred suddenly at
his home in Yarrow Street, Dune-
doo, on Wednesday, September 12,
of Frederick Kable, a well-known
resident of the town, at the age of
82 years.
The late Mr. Kable, who was a
native of Queensland, came to this
district 53 years ago. Shortly after
his arrival he was married at Bo-
laro and he and his wife have lived
there ever since. He was well
known throughout the district and
was highly respected.
Besides his widow he also leaves five
sons and three daughters to mourn
their loss. They are William
(Dunedoo), Lloyd (Sydney), George
(Lithgow), Cecil (Dunedoo), Claude
(Merrygoen), Adelena (Mrs. Nevins,
Hannah's Bridge), Lily (Mrs. W. J
Brydon, Dunedoo), and Amelia
(Mrs. A. Brydon, Clandulla). He
also leaves 38 grandchildren and 22
great-grandchildren.
The funeral- took place to the
Church of England portion of the
Dunedoo Cemetery, where the Rev.
L. V. Caldwell performed the last
sad rites. A long cortege followed
the procession and. there were many
beautiful floral tributes.
The funeral arrangements were
in the hands of Mr. D. Whale, of
Gulgong.
