The Grim Reaper has taken away
from our midst another old and
respected resident in the person of
Mrs, Helen Holmes, mother of Miss
Holmes, of the Richmond Public
School. The sad event occurred on
Saturday last, after a long illness,
the deceased being 77 years of age.
The deepest sympathy is expressed
on all sides for Miss Holmes, with
whom the deceased has resided for
many years. The remains were con
veyed to Sydney by rail on Monday,
and thence to the Balmain general
cemetery, where the interment took
place. Mr. Arthur Price carried out
