      AMBROSE— KEALY.
      A very pretty wedding was cele-
      brated by Rev. Father Meagher in
      the R. C. Church, Dungog, on Wed
      nesday morning last, the contract-
      ing parlies being Mr John, eldest
      son of Mr and Mrs J. Ambrose, of
      Newcastle, and Miss Mollie, third
      daughter of Mr Michael Kealy, of
      Fosterton. The bride. who was
      given away by her father, looked
      charming in a pretty dress of white
      charmeuse satin, overdress of white
      Maltese lace. She wore a wreath
      and embroidered veil, and carried a
      shower bouquet, which, with an
      amytest pendant, was the gift of
      the bridegroom. The bridesmaids,
      Miss Ettie Kealy (sister of the
      bride), and Miss M. Ambrose (sis
      ter of the bridegroom), looked very
      pretty. Miss Kealy wore a dress of
      embroidered lime-colour voile, re
      lieved with nattier blue and floral sash
      with hat to match. Miss Ambrose's
      drees was white embroidered voile,
      floral sash, with hat to match.
      They also wore a pendant and gold
      chain each, the gifts of the bride
      groom, and carried shower bou
      quets, the gifts of Miss Wiltee. Mr
      L. Bennett acted as best man. The
      church was very tastefully decor
      ated by friends of tha bride. After
      the ceremony a large number of
      friends who congregated, showered
      the newly wedded couple with rice
      and confetti as they left the church.
      The ' Wedding March' was played
      by Miss Ada Callnghan.
      The reception was held at the
      residence of Mr and Mrs John
      Tierney; where a number of rela
      tives and friends partook of the
      wedding breakfast. Rev. Fa' her
      Meagher , presided, and ably pro
      posed the health of the bride. Mr
      Ambrose responded on behalf of his
      bride, Other toasts were enthus
      iastically honored, and later Mr and
      Mrs Ambrose left by train for Syd
      ney, where the honeymoon will bs
      spent. The bride's travelling dress
      was grey crepe-de-chene, floral
      ninon overdress, oriental trimmings,
      and black tagel hat, grey plume.
      A large number of valuable pre
      sents were received.
